Dear Mariners Families,
I am sharing details for an upcoming championship meet that is a bit different from our typical Age Group competitions.
This email is being sent to all Age Group families, as the East Coast Swimming Championships is a standards-based meet and an important long-term goal event for many swimmers.

Event: 2026 East Coast Swimming Championships
Dates: March 26–29, 2026
Location: Dalplex Pool – 6260 South St, Halifax, NS
Hosted by: Swim Nova Scotia
📌 This is a long-course (50m) championship meet with qualifying standards required for participation.

Swimmers are also encouraged to speak directly with their coaches to better understand eligibility, readiness, and goal-setting around this meet.
📅 Declaration Deadline
Thursday, March 19th at Midnight
There is no rush to declare, but please be aware that the deadline will arrive quickly.
Please log into your PoolQ account to declare whether your swimmer will or will not be attending.
👉 Even if your swimmer is not planning to attend, please still log in and select “Not Attending.”
