Dear Mariners Families,
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and that our swimmers enjoyed some well-earned rest and recovery. We’re back in the pool tomorrow, and with that splash, I’ll be making a splash on the admin side as well with a few sanctioned meet updates — thank you for your patience.
A new meet has now been officially sanctioned, and we need families to declare attendance.
Please log into your PoolQ account as soon as possible to indicate whether your swimmer will or will not be attending.
Coach Ed will begin event planning shortly, so early declarations are essential to ensure the best meet experience for your swimmer.

Event: AAA #1 Invitational Swim Meet
Dates: January 30–31, 2026
Location: Dalplex Pool – 5260 South St, Halifax, NS
Hosted by: Swim Nova Scotia & Sackville Waves Aquatic Team
Session Times:
• Friday, January 30 – Warm-ups: 4:00 PM | Start: 5:00 PM
• Saturday, January 31 – Warm-ups: 8:00 AM | Start: 9:00 AM
📌 This is a 50m (long course) pool. Swimmers must be AAA-qualified and fully registered with Swim Nova Scotia.
Full meet information, including order of events, is attached for your reference.
📅 Deadline to Declare
Friday, January 23rd at Midnight
Please declare as early as possible so Coach Ed can finalize event selections and relay planning.
